Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario with family at her side, on Saturday, June 16, 2001. Ruth (nee Lindsay), beloved wife of forty-six years to Leath R. Davis of Wolfe Island. Dear mother of Richard Davis and his wife Kathy of Owen Sound and Lorena Cook and her husband Norman of Mount Royal. Loving grandmother of Alexandria and Victoria Davis; Cassandra, Jennifer and Sarah Cook. Also remembered by sisters-in-law Sheila Lindsay and Marilyn (Bob) Greenwood and their families. Ruth is predeceased by her brother, Murray Lindsay. Funeral service was conducted in the chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. Donations to The Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation "Sarah Cook Fund", 3400 deMaisonneuve West, Montreal, Quebec or the charity of your choice in Mrs. Davis' memory.
