Suddenly in hospital on Sunday, June 17, 2001, age 82 years. Retired City of Ottawa Employee. Beloved husband for 55 years of Reta (nee Parke). Loving father of David (Myrna), Heather Robinson (Jim) and Wendy Farant (Dan). Dearest grandfather of Shawn (Jane), Kimberly (Russ), Jimmy, Courtney, Lindsay, Jennifer, Patrick and Daniel and great-grandfather of Emily and Britney. Brother of Gladys Denison (the late Howard), Evelyn Robertson (the late Bill), Ronald (Doreen) and the late Lilly Rathwell (Bill), John (Lottie), Stanley (Margaret), Douglas (Anita), Kenneth, Clifford and Willard. Brother-in-law of Evelyn, Della and Barbara. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Laura Thrasher; nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment Wood's Cemetery.
