(nee Cameron) At the Huntingdon County Hospital after a lengthy illness on June 19, 2001. Margaret Jean Cameron in her eighty-fifth year. Long time resident of Huntingdon, Quebec and member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Reverend Kate Jordan). After completing a nursing course in Montreal Jean was employed for many years at the Huntingdon Hospital. Widow of the late William E.A. Rowat. Cherished sister of Eileen Higginson of Lachute, also survived by nieces and nephews, their families and faithful friends. Predeceased by her sister Irma Grant and her three brothers, James, Harvey and Kenneth. The family wishes to thank the staff of Huntingdon County Hospital for the compassionate care give to Jean during her illness. At the request of the deceased, cremation will take place. A graveside service at a later date in Athelstan Protestant Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to the Huntingdon County Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
