1917 - 2001. Peacefully, and with the dignity he had in life, Tom passed away in his sleep on June 25, 2001 at the age of eighty-three. Tom leaves his wife, partner and best friend for over 60 years, Elizabeth, his sons Gordon (Valerie) of Chateauguay and Glen of Mississauga, Ont. Tom will also be sadly missed by his granddaughters Kimberly (Chad) Williams, Shauna Corcoran and his great-grandson Cameron Thomas Williams. A veteran of WWII (R.C.A.S.C.) 1939-1946, Tom was also a founding member of the R.C.A.S.C. Veterans Wheel Club, a long time legion member, and resident of Vetville. Tom was a long term employee of The Montreal Star until his retirement. Visitation at Alfred Dallaire, 123 Maple, Chateauguay, Wednesday, June 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 9 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following in the chapel, and interment in the Field of Honour, Pointe Claire.
