OBITUARY - Wladyslaw Walter Tolloczko SEPTEMBER 10, 1927 – APRIL 21, 2016 - Passed away peacefully at the age of eighty-eight on April 21, 2016 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Devoted and loving father to his grieving heart-broken daughter Barbara and son-in-law Larry Edwards with whom he spent his last three years. He is now at rest and reunited with his beloved wife and lifelong companion, the late Wanda Tolloczko (nee Ziolkowski) and his cherished son Andrew. Born in Wilno, Poland, Walter graduated in Civil Engineering in France after having served in WWII and enjoyed a very long and happy career as Director at Tecsult in Montreal until he retired in 1991. Dad will be deeply missed and forever remembered by everyone for being a most kind, extremely generous, dignified and soft-spoken man. Visitation on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 29 at 11:30 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Church (St Wojciech & St Maksymilian Mission), followed by interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Père dévoué et affectueux de sa fille Barbara (Larry Edwards) avec qui il a passé ses trois dernières années. Il est maintenant au repos et réuni avec sa femme bien-aimée et compagne de vie, feu Wanda Tolloczko (née Ziolkowski) et son fils chéri Andrew. Né à Wilno, en Pologne, Walter a obtenu son diplôme en génie civil en France, après avoir servi dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale et a connu une carrière très longue et heureuse en tant que directeur à Tecsult à Montréal, jusqu'à sa retraite en 1991. "Dad" sera profondément regretté mais toujours remémoré comme un homme très gentil, très généreux, digne et à la voix douce par tous ceux qui l'ont connu.
