Passed away peacefully with family at his side on July 6, 2001 in his 85th year. Survived by his wife Elva, one brother Alistair and his wife Ethel, Edmonton, and his children Murray (Ann) and Donna Gordon and daughter-in-law Linda Weir. He was predeceased by his son Bob and sister Ellen. Also leaves his grandchildren Jim (Cathy) and Cari (Steve), Cara, Lori and Kyla, and 5 great-grandchildren Chris, Anthony, Alexandria, Matthew and Sidney. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue, on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 after 12:30 p.m. until service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Reception to follow at the Redwoods Retirement Residence, 2604 Draper Avenue.
