Johnston, Melvin Johnston, Melvin "Mel" (GRC S/SGT 1952-1981 - retraité) est décédé paisiblement le lundi 10 juillet 2006 en sa 73ième année. Mel fut l'époux bien-aimé de Monique Cardinal. Il était le cher père de David Johnston (fiancée Barbara Marin), Cheryl Gollob, Sylvain Archambault (Lynn White), Denis Archambault (Elvina Torres) et Francine Archambault. Il était le grand-père dévoué de Meagan, Derek, Kyle, Austin, Gage, Nicholas et Rock. Il laisse ses soeurs: Maxine Lucht, Connie (Jack Warner) et Marcella (Otto Weger); ses frères: Dennis Johnston (Linda) et Larry Robinson (Lynn) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Maison funéraire Kelly, 2370 Boul. St-Joseph, Orléans, jeudi de 15h à 21h. Un service religieux aura lieu vendredi en l'église Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 715 Roosevelt, Ottawa, à 10h, suivi de l'inhumation au cimetière Beechwood. Des dons à la Fondation du centre régional d'Ottawa de cancérologie seraient appréciés.
