Peacefully in hospital at Nepean while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday morning, July 7th, 2001. Ella Helena Fischer of Arnprior at the age of 97 years. Dear daughter of the late Emil Warlick and his wife the late Elizabeth Kosmack. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Fischer. Dearly loved aunt of Brian Jahn and his wife Iva of Arnprior; great-aunt of Trevor Jahn and Priscilla Lapierre (Craig) and great-great-aunt of Timothy and Hunter. Predeceased by 6 brothers and 6 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ella was born in Denbigh, Ontario on April 19, 1904. She spent many of her earlier years working in Ottawa. Ella married and moved to Germany in 1939 returning to Arnprior in 1946 where she spent several years working at the Cabinet Factory. The last 11 years of Ella's life were spent in the company of many of her dearest friends at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted in St. John's Lutheran Church, 47 McLachlin Street, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, July 10th at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow at the Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior would be appreciated by Ella's family.
