(nee McGrath) It is with great sadness that the Best-Ratcliffe Family announce the passing of Audrey Anita, age 70 years, on Sunday July 9, 2001, peacefully in the hospital surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend Jack Ratcliffe; son Derek (Anna) of Osgoode; Karla (Jim Brown) of Halifax; Julie (Antonio Spadaccini) and step-children Philip Ratcliffe (Joanne Rheaume) and Michelle (Marcus Nassner) of Sydney, Australia. Her grandchildren Andrew, Ryan, Christopher, Tyler, Tony and Alana will treasure their Nan's memory forever. Audrey is survived by sisters Mildred Nauss, Kathleen Harris, Joyce Morris, Janet McGrath and Annette Eastwood and sister-in-law Doris McGrath, all of Halifax and brothers Harry McGrath (Honor) of Comox, British Columbia, Seamon McGrath of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Rufus Cameron of Halifax. She is predeceased by brothers Cyril and Karl McGrath. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (East of Bank) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Maurice's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.
