Gérald Maurice Lebel September 12, 1951 ~ April 7, 2020 (age 68) - Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, Gérald Maurice Lebel, loving husband, father and grand-father, passed away at the age of 68. Gérald had a passion and love of life. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, and his mother, Jeannette (nee Mathon). He is survived by his beloved wife, high school sweetheart, and best friend Suzanne, his favourite daughter Maxine (Roger Gagné), and his favourite son Patrick (Jenny Dawson). He was the cherished Grand-père to Zoé, Théa, Laila, Kaï, and Ronan. He will be missed by his siblings, twin brother Gérard (Renée, deceased), Harvey (Bernice), Diane (Keri Mitchell), Elaine (Ivan Lindsay), Claude Lebel (Rose), Jacqueline (Steve Mori), Joe, Suzanne, Rozane (Bill Thomas), Lise (Pierre Lebeau), Linda (Gary Robichaud). He will be sadly missed by his In-laws, to whom were like siblings to him; Claire, deceased (Ernie Foisy - deceased), Robert (Madeleine), Marc (Colette), Colette (Brett Misener), and also nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. In lieu of flowers his family asks that everyone practice social distancing, stays home and stays safe.
