(nee McDonnell) With strength and dignity, in her 102nd year, at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre on Sunday, July 9, 2001. Born in Mayo, Quebec on September 7, 1899, daughter of the late Patrick McDonnell and Frances McNulty. Predeceased by her loving husband T.H. Clifford Lahey in 1956. Beloved mother of Norma Fraser, Lois Maguire, Orville, Loanna Fedor and Stuart. Sadly missed by son-in-law Frank Fedor. "Grammie", "Grama", "Nana" and "Darling" to 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Eldest daughter and last survivor of a family of seven brothers and one sister. Mother will be remembered for her lifelong deep devotion to her family. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Resurrection of Our Lord Church (Saunderson Dr.) followed by private cremation. Ottawa Citizen, July 9, 2001
