Susan HORE

(nee Hore) At the Lennox and Addington County Hospital, Napanee, Ontario, on Thursday, 12 July 2001, at the age of 77 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Robert Whitlaw Ross, and daughter of the late Ada and Leslie Hore of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dear mother of Ann Chisholm (Alex) of Cloyne, Ontario, and Robert Brydon (Maria Alice) of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Sister of Henry Hore (Elsa) of Bainesville, Ontario, and the late Michael Hore (June) of Sussex, England. Sister-in-law of Diane Ferguson (Murray) of Ottawa, and cherished grandmother of Douglas (Bonnie), Ian (Alexandra), Colin (Stephanie), Philip, Naomi, Anthony Lawrence and Maria Alexandra. Susan will be remembered by her family and her many friends for her love of gardening, her artistry, expressed in both her writing and her painting, and her wonderful passion and zest for life. A true friend to all, she had the unique ability to empathize with, and support others. Memorial Services will be held at St. John's Anglican Church in Flinton, Ontario, on Tuesday, 17 July 2001, at 11:00 AM., and St. Matthias Anglican Church, 555 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, on Friday, 3 August 2001, at 11:00 AM.
