(nee Barr). Passed away at her late residence on Monday evening, July 16, 2001, Mary Authers of Pakenham, Ontario, beloved wife of the late Harold C. Authers (1992). Daughter of the late John and Minnie (Johnston) Barr. Predeceased by an infant daughter Mary Emily and brothers William, Gordon and Herb Barr and sisters Annie Purcell and Ada McClure. Survived by her brother George Barr and sister Mildred Fishenden. Survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Respecting Mary's wishes, there will be no public visitations. A family funeral service will be conducted in The Boyce Funeral Home CHAPEL, 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior on Friday, July 20, 2001 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bill Simons officiating. Interment St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery at Pakenham. As an expression of sympathy, in memoriams to St. Mark's Anglican Church, The Canadian Cancer Society or The C.N.I.B. would be most appreciated by her families. Ottawa Citizen, July 18, 2001
