passing of Richard William Elliott in Montreal on Sunday, May 31, 2026, following a six-month battle with Glioblastoma. Born in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, in 1959, Rick's childhood years spent moving around ignited a lifelong love for travel. He became a passionate adventurer who embraced the world and gave back to it at every opportunity. A successful lawyer, an active community member, and a lover of life, he brought a unique warmth to everything he did. He held a deep appreciation for global cultures, and wholeheartedly embraced his Armenian wife's culture as his own. . Above all, Rick's greatest joy was his family. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Lena; his children, Raffi (Mariam), Patrick (Julija), and Maral (Michal); his grandchildren, Maral, Aram, Toros, Emilia, and Anthony; his siblings Timothy (Jane), Brian (Barbara), and Maureen (Douglas); and his many nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family and friends.
