Sister Elizabeth Anne O'Connor, Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, at Shalom Residence, Pembroke, Ontario, on Friday, July 20th, 2001, in the 65th year of her religious life. As well as her religious community, Sister leaves to mourn her sister, Mrs. Norah Savage, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Tom, Dan, Dennie, Charlie, Jack, Mike and Bernard, and her sisters, Margaret, Marty, Etta, Katie, Cel and Marian. Sister Elizabeth Anne's ministry was in dietary services in Timmins, Ottawa, Sault Ste. Marie, Pembroke and Victoria Harbour. On her retirement she came to the Motherhouse in Pembroke prior to moving to Shalom Residence. Resting at the Grey Sisters' Motherhouse, 700 Mackay Street, Pembroke, from 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 22nd until the Resurrection Liturgy in the Motherhouse Chapel on Monday, July 23rd, at 10:30 a.m. Internment St. Columba's Cemetery. Members of the Catholic Women's League will meet for prayer at the Motherhouse on Sunday, July 22nd, at 4:00 p.m. Friends and Associates are invited to evening prayer at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22nd in the Motherhouse Chapel.
