Ottawa Hydro employee for 43 years WWII Veteran RCN In hospital Sunday July 22, 2001. David Lorne Sims age 88. Loving husband of Margaret (Godin) Boyce. Predeceased by his daughter Mary Diane Charette and her mother Jean Fletcher. Lorne was the oldest child of the late Margaret Howe and Edward Sims. Predeceased by his brothers Martin, Carl and Bill, by sisters Jean Sims and Helen Campbell and step-son James Brock Boyce. Survived by his step-daughter Beverley Ann of Denver, Colorado, son-in-law Len Charette of Detroit and sisters Anita Brophy, Shirley (Maurice Clermont) and sister-in-law Frances Sims. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Ave., Nepean (south of Fallowfield Rd.) Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday to St. Augustine's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
