LADD M. Maro Jay "Hap"- 1924-2019 Paisiblement à Knowlton, Québec, le dimanche 4 août 2019, à l'âge de 94 ans est décédé M. Maro Jay Ladd époux de feu Mme Agnes (Ginger) Chartrand McLaren, fils de feu Jay Maro Ladd et de feu Edna Alta Hooper, père de feu Richard et feu Robert ainsi que sa belle-fille feu Charmaine. Il manquera grandement à ses fils, Terry (Diane) et Tim (Suzanne), à ses belles-soeurs, Joyce et Phyllis, à sa belle-fille, Bev Webster,à ses petits- enfants, Troy (Jennifer), Melissa (Bryan), Damien (Kimberly), Serena (Angie), Chris, Andrew (Shannon), Chris(Cynthia), à son arrière-petite-fille Charlie ainsi qu'à plusieurs neveux et nièces. Plusieurs parents et amis se souviendront de Hap, notamment Peter et Yvonne Zindel, Louise Emmanuel, les familles de Wilfred Jones et de Bruce Jones. La famille désire remercier bien sincèrement le personnel du Manoir Lac Brome et de la Résidence Excelsoins (Maison Knowlton), pour les bons soins, leur amitié et leur réconfort à Hap durant ses dernières années. La famille accueillera parents et amis le vendredi 23 août de 19 h à 21 h, un service Masonique précèdera à 18 h 30 au salon funéraire Désourdy de Knowlton, le samedi 24 août, la famille sera présente à l'église Unie de Granby (Granby United Church) (101 rue Principale, Granby) à compter de 13 h. Les funérailles (présidées par le Révérend David Lefneski) auront lieu à 14 h. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière Pine Wood. Des dons en sa mémoire à l'hôpital BMP de Cowansville et/ou à l'Église Unie de Granby seraient grandement appréciés. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Maro Jay 'Hap' Ladd passed away peacefully in Knowlton, Quebec on Sunday, August 4th, 2019 in his 95th year. Hap was the son of the late Jay Maro Ladd and the late Edna Alta Hooper and was predeceased by his wife Ginger (Agnes Chartrand McLaren), his sons Richard and Robert, and his daughter-in-law Charmaine. Hap will be missed by his sons Terry (Diane) and Tim (Suzanne), sisters-in-law Joyce and Phyllis, daughter-in-law Bev Webster, his grandchildren Troy (Jennifer), Melissa (Bryan), Damien (Kimberly), Serena (Angie), Chris, Andrew (Shannon), Chris (Cynthia), his great-granddaughter Charlie and many nephews and nieces. Hap is especially remembered by his many relatives and good friends, notably Peter and Yvonne Zindel, Louise Emmanuel, as well as the families of Wilfred Jones and of Bruce Jones. A special thank you to the staff at Manoir Lac Brome and Excelsoins (Knowlton House) who provided care, friendship and comfort to Hap during his final years. Family and friends will be welcomed Friday, August 23rd from 7 pm to 9 pm, preceded by a Masonic Memorial Service at 6:30 pm. at the Désourdy Funeral Home, Knowlton. A second visitation will be held at the Granby United Church, 101 Rue Principale, Granby on Saturday, August 24th at 1 pm, followed by a celebration of life service at 2 pm, which will be officiated by Reverend David Lefneski. Interment will be at the Pine Wood Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the BMP Hospital Cowansville and/or the Granby United Church.
