(nee Oldham) Died peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2001, in the Chronic Care Unit of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Community Hospital, Perth, which has been her home for the past 6 years. Ruth Swan, in her 72nd year, was born in Scarborough, moved to Smiths Falls after her marriage to Ritchie Swan who predeceased her in 1994. She is survived by one sister Jean Nauta, and a brother Edward Oldham and his wife Frances. Sister-in-law of Earl and Gail Swan and Marion Lansche. Aunt of Cindy, Cathy, Christie and Jim Lansche; Jennifer and Jason Swan, Sally Buffin, Marg and John Walton, Audrey and Pat Nauta, Phillip Nauta, Kathryn and Gord Britton, Carolyn and Tony Mauro; Kym Oldham, Scott Oldham, Charlene Oldham and Heather and Doug Spence. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26th, 2001, where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
