At the Centre Hospitalier Regional du Grand-Portage on July 26, 2001, Mr. Romeo Cournoyer passed away at the age of seventy-seven years. He was a resident of Cacouna. Predeceased by his first wife Gertrude Roux and husband of Suzanne Plourde. He also leaves to mourn his children Carole (Daniel Dubeau), Francine (Michel Blanchette), Jean-Claude Beaudoin, the late Ginette (Gilles Lamouche), his sister Juliette, his grandchildren Alison, Nancy, Kevin, Julien and Marilene, many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The religious service will be celebrated in the Chapel at Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges cemetery in Montreal on Saturday September 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. The Montreal Gazette, August 28, 2001
