In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter Line (Michel), his 2 grandchildren: Marie-Soleil (Vincent) and Gabriel (Audrey); his sister-in-law Francine Hamel (Richard); his brothers and sisters: Luce Duchesneau, Marcel Duchesneau (his son, Sylvain), the late Lisette Duchesneau (Bernard), their 3 children Manon, Josée, Dominique, Jeannot Duchesneau (Lisette) their son Martin Duchesneau (Sophie), Jules Duchesneau (Mariette), their 3 children François (Karine), Martine (Sylvain), Christian (Annie), Pierre Duchesneau (Carole), their 2 children, Daniel and Karine, Pierrette Duchesneau (Pierre), their children Sébastien, Marie-Pierre, Marc-André, Michel Duchesneau (Suzanne), their 2 children, René and Chantal (Éric), Mario Duchesneau (Danielle), their daughter Valérie and grandchildren. The family will receive condolences on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Cooperative Funeral of the Estrie at the Val-des-Sources Lounge at 240, rue Du Roi in Val-des-Sources. A memorial tribute to his life will follow at 3 pm at the same place.
