died peacefully at home on July 18, 2026, in Montreal, Quebec. Born in 1937 and raised in Kilmarnock, Scotland, her adventurous spirit took her across the Atlantic to St. John's, Newfoundland, and the physiotherapy department of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Margaret said she left Scotland so she wouldn't marry a Presbyterian minister, something she ended up doing anyways 3,500 kms from home. Together they served the congregations of St. David's in St. John's and the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in Montreal. Margaret was an essential part of those ministries, contributing her talents fully and freely Predeceased by her husband, the Reverend J.S.S. Armour, Margaret will be dearly missed by her children James (Margaret), David (Manon), Douglas (Lycia), and Jenny; as well as her beloved grandchildren William, Catherine, A private service and interment will be held at a later date at the Belvedere
