Alfred D. Nother

passed away peacefully at the age of 80, after a painful illness. He leaves behind his wife, Delia; his brother and his sisters: Marilyn, Sharon and Geraldine, and her husband, Gorette and her husband and Jordan Andrade, Sandie, Ryan and Kevin Andrade. Fred loved fishing and golfing. He had many good friends. One of his favourite things to do in his retirement years was to go to lunch on Fridays with his good buddies and discuss world events. He worked for Pitfield Mackay Ross, which became RBC Dominion Securities. He was a Vice President and traded on the Montreal Stock Exchange Floor. He loved his job and all his friends from many years there. He also liked to travel and cruise. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Funeral Home DARCHE, located at 7679 boulevard Taschereau, Brossard, QC, J4Y 1A2, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2026. The family extends its deepest appreciation to Drs. Metrokos and Alasat and the whole team at the Cedar Cancer Centre, and our family doctor, Mark Roper, of many years.
