1925-2001 Peacefully, at the Peter D. Clark Care Centre, on Tuesday, July 31, 2001. Elsa Stephenson, beloved wife of Angus MacPhee. Cherished mother of Helene (Ian Cameron) of Stittsville, David (Judy) of Vernon, B.C., Deborah (Don Davis) of Stittsville and Christopher of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Andrew, Kristen, Spencer, Zachary, Jennica, Stephanie and Lindsay and great-grandmother of Connor and Tristen. Sister of Vera Hardy of Dundas, Ontario. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held in the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean, on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. In memory of Elsa a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, ON, would be appreciated. The family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Maple House at Peter D. Clark Care Centre for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Elsa and her family.
