BARTLETT, Elinor - Peacefully at John Joseph Place in Owen Sound on Monday, December 15, 2008. Mary Elinor Bartlett (nee Palmer) of Owen Sound in her 85th year. Dearly beloved wife of Edouard Bartlett for 58 years. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Beverly of Owen Sound and Jennifer Tindale and her husband Wayne of Kingston. Elinor will be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren Alina, Amanda and Joshua Bartlett; Adam, Carrie and Rachael Tindale; and James, Keetah and Michael Brough. She will also be missed by her five great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Rebecca Pennycook of Uxbridge. Predeceased by a brother James Palmer and a sister Ruth MacKay. Elinor taught at loyalist Collegiate School and was the founder of the Kingston Handloom Weavers. Friends are invited to the TANNAHILL FUNERAL HOME (Owen Sound 519-376- 3710) for visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock.
