Peacefully at his late residence with his family at his side on Sunday afternoon August 5th, 2001, Ian Kenneth Leckie at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Delyea) Leckie. Dearly loved father of Kenneth (Diane) Leckie of North Bay and Patricia (Mrs. Peter Diotte) of Arnprior. Grandfather of Kendall (Billie Jane), Chad & Curtis Leckie, Chrystal & Kimberley (Nathan) Diotte. Predeceased by his father Arthur Leckie & his mother Annie Scharfe & his stepmother Lavina LaFleur formerly of Admaston. Predeceased by 2 sisters: Mrs. Evelyn Hamer (late Fred) and Mrs. Lillian Roberts (late Harold) as well as 2 brothers: Arthur Leckie (late Frances) & Neil Leckie. Predeceased by 2 stepbrothers: Clarence Rodgers (late Corrine) & Harold Rodgers (Sarah "Sally") of North Bay. Member of St. Andrew's Lodge A.F. & A.M. # 497. A Graveside Service to inter the cremated remains will be conducted at Goshen Cemetery on Thursday, August 9th at 1 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hollingsworth officiating. Donations to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
