Arnold Tanner MCCONNELL

It is with great sadness that the family of Arnold McConnell announces his passing on Monday, August 6th, 2001, at the Central Park Lodge - Poseidon Care Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Arnold was born on February 27th, 1921 in Danford Lake, Quebec. He was the beloved husband of over 50 years of marriage to Theresa (nee St. Denis); dear father of Diane (Peter), Kenneth (Connie) and Shelley (Dale), grandfather of Janet (Kevin), Scott and Bryan and brother of Irene Mooney in Ottawa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws in Winnipeg, Ontario, Quebec and Detroit. Arnold was predeceased by his father Birtle, mother Annie (nee Tanner), and by his brothers, Bertie (Rosie) and Albert (Dora) both from Detroit. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard, Winnipeg. A reception and gathering of family and friends will follow.
