In Ottawa on August 7, 2001 at the age of 71 years. Elliot was the son of the late Warren M. Hannaford and Grace Clyne. Survived by his stepdaughters Margo and Shirley and wife Bertha. Dear brother of Weldon Hannaford (Patricia), Wayne Hannaford (Heather), Cheryll Hannaford, Connie Pitman (George) and Hope Riopelle. Survived by nieces and nephews. Cremation was held. Friends may call at the Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper Street (between Bay & Lyon) on Tuesday, August 21, 2001 from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth's Church on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with interment of ashes to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
