Retired Conductor - C.P.R. for 31 years Peacefully in Stoneridge Manor at Carleton Place, Ontario on Wednesday, August 8, 2001 in his 85th year. Beloved husband for 59 years of Kathleen Burns. Dear father of Francis (Vivian) of Perth. Grandfather of Gregory (Paula) of Maberly and Matthew (Jennifer) of Belleville. Survived by his sister-in-law Thora Coleman of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by his sisters Ethel Sinnet and Thurza Reid and brother Reginald. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, Ontario on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Blair Corcoran officiating.
