Peacefully at St. Jacques Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 8, 2001, Katie (Craig) of Russell in her 92nd year. Much loved mother of Eileen (Richard) Hamelin. Very special nan of Linda Lee Hamelin (Jim Steel) and Junior Hamelin (Jenny Ganter). Great-grandma of Sara Kay Steel. Beloved sister of Lorne (Alice) Craig of Vernon and the late Lillis Coons, Myrtle Ogilvie, Sadie Hanes, Annie MacIntyre and Willie MacIntyre. Fondly remembered by the Lake Family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a memorial visitation at the Duncan Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday with Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel for Service at 7 p.m. Inurnment to take place at Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
