At Pembroke on Saturday, August 11th, 2001 in her 108th year. Ella Louise Galligan (nee McCool) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Judge T.M.J. Galligan. Predeceased by her son Thomas and by her daughter Anne (Mrs. L.A. Sherwood). Survived by her sons Patrick (Marian Hoare) of Toronto, Michael (Janet McIlraith) of Almonte, by her son-in-law Livius Sherwood of Ottawa, by her grandchildren Thomas Galligan (Kathryn Liptrott), Catherine Galligan (Reid Parker), Patrick Galligan (Brenda Robins), Shelagh Galligan (Geoffrey Farr), all of Toronto, Margaret Galligan of Almonte, Justin Galligan (Michelle Smith) of Arnprior, Christopher Sherwood (Heather) and Mary Sharkey, both of Ottawa, by her great-grandsons John (Jack) Galligan, Joseph Parker, and Ryan and Garret Sherwood. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday after 12 noon. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, August 14, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke.
