Passed away peacefully with his family present at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Saturday August 11, 2001. Loving son of Anna Jane Bentley. Beloved husband of Katherine. Loving father of April and Sean by previous marriage to Marilyn Heffernan. Brother to Billy, Victoria and Wellington. By request of the family, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls. Ottawa Citizen, August 12, 2001
