(nee Myers) Surrounded by her beloved family, age 84, in hospital Saturday, August 11, 2001. Loving mother of 5 surviving sons; William Simpson Q.C. (Rosemary Vondette), Donald Simpson (Bonnie Dean), Thomas Simpson (Rose Sarlo) of Florida, Edgar Simpson (Carol Docherty) and Joseph (Karen McNiece). Much beloved grandmother of Karyn (Mike Patton), Jane, Ian, Thomas, Julie, Stephanie (Jason Andrews), Mark, Ryan, Tiffany and Donna Simpson. Born in Jeddore Oyster Ponds, N.S. one of 13 daughters born to Ethelda Stoddard and Ervin Myers. Predeceased by 8 sisters; Marion Myers, Rita Myers, Audrey Brown, Margaret Leslie, Ida Bond, Vera Myers, Winnie Daye and Violet Myers. Survived by 4 sisters; Jean Webber of Halifax, Dorothy Harding of Maple Ridge, BC, Gwen Moore of Burlington and Frances Royds of Kitchener. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Joseph Church, Cumberland and Wilbrod for Mass of Christian Funeral at 12 noon.
