Lola Mary AKESON

Passed away unexpectedly, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, August 19, 2001. Lola Mary Rodgers, wife and soulmate of E.J. (Bud) Rodgers. She leaves her beloved sister Vivian Skinner of Albuquerque, New Mexico and sister-in-law Agnes Akeson of Ottawa, Ontario. Also grieving are nephews Dale Skinner of Guelph, Ontario and Chris Skinner of Albuquerque, New Mexico and several nieces and nephews in Ottawa, Ontario. She is predeceased by her parents Kathleen Ethel and Lawrence Akeson, and three brothers Stanley, Garry and Clayton. Lola was born in Ottawa on September 28, 1929 and lived for many years in Oakville, Ontario with her husband before moving to Stoney Creek. She was deeply loved by many friends and neighbours and will be very much missed. A graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington) on Saturday, August 25, 2001 at 10 a.m. Donations in Lola's memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
