(nee Poliseno) "Betsy" "Favorite". Died suddenly on August 19, 2001 at the age of sixty-nine. Spouse of John Phillips. Dear dear mother of Christine (deceased) and Geraldine (Sylvano). Proud and loving grandmother of Jennifer, Natalina and Anna. Best friend and sister to Frank (Sonny), Margaret (Susie), Brenda (deceased) and Carol. She also leaves many greaving nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends too numerous to mention. Betsy was many things to many people and we are all better for knowing her. She will be greatly missed by all. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, August 25 at 11 a.m. at St. Veronica's Church, 1350 Carson Avenue in Dorval. The Montreal Gazette, August 22, 2001
