In the dignity of her own home, peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 22, 2001. Loving wife of Eldon of 48 years. Proud mother of Gary (Linda), Kevin and Lynn (Gord Baird). Dear "Oma" to Brian, Jason, Cory, Sarah, Cody and Benjamin. She will be missed by Gail, Kirk and Warren. Survived by her sisters Faye (Gerry Lewis) and Gail (Bob Potter) and her brother Doug (Glenda). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a special sister-in-law to Faye (Claire Symington) and Shirley (Reg). Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), on Sunday, August 26 from 11:00 a.m. until Funeral Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Ottawa Chapter or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family would like to thank B.J., Cheryl and Inge.
