(Retired Playtex Canada) (Horse Trainer) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Saturday evening, August 25th, 2001 following a brief but valiant struggle with cancer. Allison Harry "Fergie" Ferguson of Arnprior at the age of 66 years. Father of Sheryl Badham (Mark) and Shawn Ferguson, both of Kingston and Stan Ferguson (Therese) of Arnprior. Dear brother of John "Jackie" Ferguson of Kingston, P.E.I. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Fergie truly enjoyed horses and was a devoted fan of the harness racing industry. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 12 noon Tuesday. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday afternoon, August 28th at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth of Braeside United Church officiating. Cremation to follow with final interment in the Ferguson family plot, Charlottetown, P.E.I. at a later date. Donations to one's favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
