Peacefully at home on Saturday, August 25, 2001 Lois "Erma" Alexander of Ottawa, 70 years. Loved daughter of Barbara Alexander and the late Gilmour Alexander. Beloved wife for 49 years of Ed Ramsay. Cherished mother of Kerry (Debbie) Ramsay of Ottawa, Kim (Claude) Pachan and Debra Ramsay, both of Grimsby, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Kirk and Brett Ramsay, Brandon and Amanda Pachan. Dear sister of Belma (Clayton) Hull, Wilma (late Dave) Messerschmidt, Norman (Shirley) Alexander, Ernald (Jean) Alexander, Wayne (Sue) Alexander, all of Ottawa. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel and Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 29, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ann Durant officiating. Interment Ramsayville Cemetery.
