In hospital on Friday, August 31, 2001, Sandy Moffat of Russell in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Muriel (Young). Dear father of Jean (Denis St. Pierre) and Mary (Garry Carkner) all of Winchester and Marjorie Moffat of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Loved grandfather of Lisa St. Pierre (Randy Byers), Michelle St. Pierre (Stuart Robertson) and Monique St. Pierre; Mark Carkner (Shannon Van Bridger), Amy Carkner, Andrew Carkner and great-grandfather of Dylan Byers and Brittany Carkner. Son of the late George and Margaret (Little) Moffat. Brother of the late Setwart, Mable and Nellie Moffat. A private family Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Duncan Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) Monday evening.
