Mary Julia CAHILL

(Cahill) Died peacefully on Sunday September 2, 2001 at the Oakville Lifecare Centre in her 99th year. Mary dearly beloved wife of the late Daniel Victor Sheedy. Cherished mother of Mary Eileen and her husband Ray McCallion. Predeceased by her son Brian Sheedy. Dearly missed by his wife Margaret Sheedy. One of 11 children of David Cahill born in Allumette Island and Minnie Heenan of Alice, Ontario. Will be treasured by her grandchildren, Theresa (Mike Leyland), Maureen (Brad Cox), Patricia (Adrian Swinkels), Catherine (Steven Kelly), Douglas McCallion (Mary Anne), Richard McCallion (Sharon), Carolynne (Jeff Daniels) and Bobby McCallion (deceased), and great-grandchildren, Pat, Jon, Jen, Darryl, Daniel, Derek, David, Kevin, Nicole, Courtney, and Teanna. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Hildred O'Kane, Vincent Cahill, Joe Cahill, Catherine O'Kane, Jack Cahill, Roadina Sheedy, Helen Armour, M.J. Cahill, Margaret Mulligan and Delbert Cahill. Mary leaves wonderful memories for her many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2001. Funeral Mass, 12 noon Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at St. Dominic's Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street. The family invites relatives and friends to a reception in the parish hall following the Mass. Interment later at St. Pius Cemetery, Osceola, Ontario.
