Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, Monday, September 3, 2001. Rose Rohrmeier age 78. Beloved wife of 48 years of Berthold "Bert" Schaefers. Loving mother of Dorothy (Jim Vaughan), Paul, Micheal and Margot (Geoff Languedoc). Cherished "Omi" to her grandchildren Sarah, David, Leah, William and Jenifer. Dear sister of Willi, Josef, Fritz, Ella Anneliese and Doris, all of Germany. The family expresses its deep appreciation to the many caregivers for their compassion and kindness during her illness and in particular Dr. Louise Coulombe and nurse Nancy Quanzah. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Boulevard, Orleans, Friday after 12 noon. Funeral Service Friday in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
