October 13, 1939 - September 6, 2001 "The Braeside Engineer" Deputy fire chief of McNab Braeside and former fire chief of The Village of Braeside Passed away suddenly in Braeside on Thursday morning September 6, 2001. John Phillips of Braeside Ontario in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Jean Lytle. Dear father of Darryl (Paula) Phillips of Braeside, Tim Phillips of Prince Rupert, B.C. and Karle Phillips of Arnprior. Dear grandfather of Megan and John Phillips. Dear brother of Anne (Jim) Freda of Burnstown and Doris (the late Armnad) Desjardins of Arnprior. Predeceased by brothers Donald, Lorne and Harold. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home LTD 138 Daniel Street N. Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Saturday 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and after 12 noon Sunday September 9, 2001 thence to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Braeside where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth and Father John Quinn officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Arnprior Malloch Road Cemetery on Tuesday September 11, 2001. The Ottawa Citizen, September 8, 2001
