Peacefully at the Argenteuil Hospital, Lachute, Quebec on Sunday, September 9, 2001 in his seventy-seventh year after an eight year struggle with cancer. Beloved husband of Madeleine Raguin. Loving father of Trevor, Ross (Cathy) and Sharon Ritchie (Scott). Loving grandfather of Paul and Lauren. Dear brother of Gordon (Mariette), Donald (Helen), Wilbur, Winona, Wayne (Pat), Myrna (Bill), Linda, Gwennie (Claude) and Daryl (Diane). Cameron was a teacher and principal for thirty-seven years at the PSBGM. In retirement he was a real estate agent. He was a former President of the Dunany Country Club. Special thanks to Dr. N.B. Whittemore and the hematology nurses Freda, Suki, Susan, Trudy and all the staff of the hematology department at the Montreal General Hospital. Thanks also to the VON - Lachine - Angie Davis and Val and the CLSC in Lachine and Lachute. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2001 at 1 p.m. from St. Simeon's Anglican Church, Lachute, Quebec. The family will receive friends at the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 Main St., Lachute, Quebec on Wednesday, September 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
