born February 3, 1916 in Toronto, died peacefully at home in Whitby September 9, 2001, age 85 years. Predeased by husband Donald of Belleville, and brothers Bart and Kit Carson. Margaret lived a very active volunteer life in Belleville until her health became precarious several years ago. Her daughter, Dorothy, cared lovingly for her in her last two years. She will be missed by children Dorothy Pierce of Whitby (and her children David, Carolyn, Jeffrey and Steven), and Roy (Elizabeth, nee Coll) (and their children Anne, Emily and Julia Maddocks of Ottawa). A service of thanksgiving for Margaret's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday September 29 at Bridge Street United Church, 60 Bridge Street East Church, in Belleville, Those wishing may make memorial donations to: First Adventure Child Development Centre, 225 Bridge Street East, Belleville, Ontario, or Covenant House, 20 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario, or the charity by which they knew Margaret best."
