At St. Joseph's Villa, Cornwall, on Monday, September 10, 2001, Alexander Joseph Beaudette; formerly of R.R. #1, St. Andrews West; age 98 years. Beloved husband of the late Maud Emma Martin and by a previous marriage the late Antoinette Goulet. Dear father of Albert (Bert) Beaudette (Oris) of R.R. #1, Maxville, Emile Beaudette (Marina) of Vankleek Hill, Ernie Beaudette (Mary) of Richmond, Mrs. Doris MacLellan of Dorion, Quebec, Mrs. Theresa Bray of Toronto, Norma (wife of Dr. William McElheran) of Braeside and Lorraine Beaudette of R.R. #1, St. Andrews West. Dear son of the late Arthur Beaudette and the late Sarah Leroux. Predeceased by two brothers, Willie and Ambrose Beaudette and by two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Parent and Mrs. Laura Larue. Also survived by 28 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one granddaughter, Melanie McDonald. Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall from 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Friday, September 14, 2001 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrews Church, St. Andrews West at 11 a.m. Interment, Parish Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Friday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Restoration Fund for St. Andrews Church or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
