Mrs. Emma Derrig of Pointe Claire, Quebec and formerly of Bishops Point, Lancaster at the Lakeshore General Hospital, Pointe Claire on Monday, September 10, 2001 age eighty years. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Derrig. Loved mother to Sean Derrig (Michelle), Winnipeg; and Jay Derrig of Gananoque, Ontario. Dear sister to Yvette Charlebois, Armand Spencer, Laura Proulx all of Buckingham, Quebec; and Leona Spencer, Montreal. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Alain (Gabrielle), Anne, Ryan and Christopher and by great grandchildren Isabelle, Nathan and Tyler. Predeceased by one son Roy Derrig; her parents Edouard and Donalda (Villemaire) Spencer; brothers Lionel, Rene and Herve; and one sister Blanche. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 1 p.m. Friday, September 14. (The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be Celebrated in St. Raphaels Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 15, 2001 at 11 a.m.). Rite of Committal to follow in St. Raphaels Parish Cemetery, St. Raphaels, Ontario.
