Peacefully at Deep River and District Hospital on Saturday September 15th, 2001 at the age of 78 years. Fran Brown (nee Holleran) of Chalk River, ON. Loving wife and best friend of Del Brown. Loving mother of Rosemary Daneliak (Bill) of Russell, ON, Wally Brown of Port Elgin, ON, Frank Brown (Jean) of Edmonton and Kathy Arkles (Jim) of Chalk River. Loving grandmother of Laura and Barbara Brown and Bradley and Jessica Arkles. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Helen Atkins (Earl) of Kentville, NS. Daughter of the late William and Julia (nee Mullen) Holleran. Predeceased by her brother Jim Holleran (late Mary), and her sisters Dorothy Holleran, Marian Patterson (late Eric), Patricia Howard (late Mark), Rosemary Holleran and Margaret Holleran. In keeping with Fran's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, Chalk River on Friday, September 21st at 12 o'clock noon. (The family will be present at the Church for visitation from 10:30 a.m.) Interment of Cremated Remains in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chalk River. In memory of Fran, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or the memorial fund of Deep River & District Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
