(nee Burrows). Age sixty-five, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, September 20, 2001. Mourning her loss is her loving husband of forty-two years David Leigh, her six children Sheila (Laurence), Laura (Dave), John (Hilary), Paul (Alysin), Rita and Kevin (Stefania), her nine grandchildren, her three sisters and two brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and many in-laws. Venita was a vibrant, loving and caring individual that will be sadly missed by all those that she touched. Our hearts are heavy with our love for her. A memorial service to remember and celebrate Venita's life will be held at the Boal Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, B.C. at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2001. the family would greatly appreciate that donations be made to the B.C.
