Accidentally on September 24, 2001 at the age of 72. Ross Somerville of Spencerville. Beloved husband of Linda and predeceased by his first wife Beatrice. Dear father of Marjorie (Gordon Williams), Bryan (Pamela), Brenda (John Murray) and Linda (Bryane McGonegal). Dear stepfather of Brenda Sita, Patricia Cote and Robert McDowell. Prececeased by son Carol. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild. Predeceased by 1 grandson. Dear brother of Ray, Glenn (Velma), Keith (Joan) and Gail Gill. Also survived by aunt Anna Somerville and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at the Grant Brown Funeral Home Purcell Chapel, Spencerville on Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral service Friday at 1 p.m. at Spencerville United Church. Interment St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery, Spencerville. Memorial donations to the Friends of the Edwardsburgh Library Fund or the Masonic Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
