Royal Canadian Mint Suddenly at home on Friday, September 28, 2001 aged 50 years. Beloved husband of Dee and loving father of Laura and Trevor of Kanata. Dear son of Gladys and the late Orville Macartney. Also survived by his sister Doreen Smith (Terry), niece Jody Smith and grand-niece Chelsey. Don will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family and many friends. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road, Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2001 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the CHF Clinic of the Queensway-Carleton hospital would be appreciated by the family.
