Jeremy William Ronald MCCARTHY

From Longueuil, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2001 in his eighty-fifth year. Beloved husband of the late Rita Margaret Gahan. Dearest father of Daniel (Barbara Schaus) and Noreen. Loving grandfather of Joan and Gregory. Predeceased by his sisters Teresa, Mae and Edna. Survived by his brother John and sisters Eileen, Dorothy and Marian. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends who knew him for his humour, kindness and loving nature. Visitation at La Maison Darche, 258 St. Charles West, Friday, October 5 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, October 6 at 11 a.m. from St. Clare of Assisi, corner of Quinn and de Gentilly, Vieux Longueuil, thence to Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
